John Weiburg is the founder of GreenLInk Home Inspections and GreenTauk Engineering, both of which are Long Island namesakes. As a Seaford native, John is passionate about Long Island and family vacations in Montauk. John and his team leverage their hometown knowledge, seasoned experience in navigating the area’s unique environment, and skilled expertise in inspections and engineering to deliver quality service. John and his team have established a reputation for integrity and professionalism in both the Home Inspection and Engineering fields here on Long Island.

John Weiburg
John Weiburg is a Professional Engineer and an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI) who has been inspecting houses on Long Island, NY since 2004. John owns and operates both GreenLInk Home Inspections, LLC and GreenTauk Engineering, PLLC. John has taught Home Inspection Licensing/Continuing Education classes at Molloy College since 2006 and has presented at several National Home Inspection Conferences throughout the country and Canada. These presentations include storm damaged houses, elevating houses and environmental issues.
John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Technology and is the current President of Long Island ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors). John is actively involved in elevating houses and designing new houses to meet FEMA requirements to mitigate future impacts from storms such as Super Storm Sandy. John is often called in as a Professional Engineer to consult on structural inspections and as an expert witness in court testimony. Television appearances include NBC, FIOS 1 and Telemundo for Home Inspections, Sandy repair work and a contractor fraud series.
John enjoys spending time out east in Montauk with his family in the summer and skiing in the winter upstate and in Colorado. Kayaking, beach volleyball, biking and golf are favorite activities. The newest addition to the family is a 12-year old adopted cat named Mango.

John works closely with Wesley Creegan, who earned his Home Inspection license in 2013 from Molloy College and is an integral part of the GreenLInk Home Inspections/GreenTauk Engineering team. You may cross paths with Wes during your Property Inspection, Flood Zone Elevation Certification process, Helical Pile Installation or Inspection, or during your reconstruction project or new house plan meeting. Wes worked for a large corporation for over 25 years in New York City before joining John. In the summer, Wes enjoys spending time out east on the north fork.
